Tampere Film Festival takes place in March already for the 27th time.

Tampere Film Festival is one of the oldest film festivals in Europe. It started from the enthusiasm of young cine club activists and has developed into a magnificent event of quality and fun for friends of short film.

Number of the spectators has increased all the time, especially in the 90´s. The 1996 Festival gathered an audience of over 33 500 spectators.
