Tampere
International Short Film Festival will be held for the 30th
time in March 8-12, 2000.
Tampere
Film Festival is one of the leading short film festivals
in the world. The International Competition is highly esteemed
in todays's short film circuit and together with the Finnish
Competition it is the heart of the five day event. The special
characteristic of Tampere is the emphasis given different
short film genres: documentary, fiction and animation films.
In
addition Tampere is known for its versatile and ambitious
special programmes.In March South Africa and Ireland will
be highlighted. Animation retrospectives brings into spotlight
Felix the Cat, Winnie the Pooh and Wallace & Gromit.
