Festival News 2000 web version is a joint production of Tampere Film Festival and students of netmedia course and students of writing class two at the University of Tampere. Stories are written and photos taken by students. Students from translation studies department write the translations in English.

The printed version is distributed during the festival. During the festival Festival News is also released daily on the web.
