In connection
with the 31st Tampere Film Festival on March 7-11, 2001, we
also organise Film Market for buyers and festival representatives
to visit and for film-makers and producers to send their new
productions to. Market services include video on demand service
and a listing of the latest (last 2 years) short and documentary
films offered for the Tampere 2001 Finnish and international
competition (in our market catalogue 2000 there were altogether
2500 titles).
Tampere
Film Market is mainly focusing on the short films and documentaries
from Finland, Scandinavian countries, Russia and Baltic countries.
How
do you get your film to the film market?
If you offer your film for the international competition,
your film be automatically and free of charge included in
the market film selection and no extra registration is necessary.
But if
you wish to send other film(s) , e.g. feature length documentaries
and animated films etc. meant only for the film market please
follow these instructions: - fill in the international competition
entry form - state clearly on the entry form that your film
is only for the film market - before sending the cassette,
mark clearly on the envelope: "FILM MARKET"
- enclose VHS cassette (and press material, if you have some)
- IF your film is not in English and the VHS cassette has
no subtitles, please enclose also a dialogue list translation
(English) or a few lines in English to help to understand
your film.
