Tampere 31st International Short Film Festival is to be March 7 - 11, 2001. We offer highlights of best new short films made on film and we offer an excellent cocktail of animation, document and fiction.

Unique electromental films made by Finnish and international film makers. Guest starring the Digital Film Festival Resfest from the United States.
Experiental tales of the cities collected by the British director Ian Helliwell. There is also an accompanied show of Mika Taanila's Pori triptych and Berlin Metropolitan Symphony by Walter Ruttmann.
Retrospective of Peruvian short films - documents and fiction - produced during the past twenty years. One screening is dedicated to contemporary director Aldo Salvini.
