Competition For the second time Tampere 33rd International Short Film Festival (March 5-9, 2003, Finland) organizes the Micromovies Competition, dedicated to the exhibition and promotion of short films compatible to mobile devices. The competition is mapping out the possibilities of new forms of moving pictures. There are no restrictions in techniques, genres, hardware or software for the films entered: the only limits are the time limit - the films can't exceed a length of 3 minutes and 14 seconds - and that the works have to be compatible for submitting over the Internet. This year the works in the competition must have been made between years 2000 and 2003. The main prize of the competition is 10 000€. The winner will be announced on Sunday 9th March at the closing seremonies of Tampere Film Festival. List of competition screenings here >> |
