After beginning at an excessively short distance from May Britt, the abstract black-and-white contrasts, streaks and patterns are gradually revealed to be a closeup of her face. Heavily made-up, piercing saucer-shaped eyes dominate her diva-like expression.

Kuvaus alkaa liioitellulta lähietäisyydeltä May Britin kasvoista. Abstraktit musta-valkokontrastit, juovat ja kuviot tarkentuvat pikkuhiljaa lähikuvaksi hänen kasvoistaan. Voimakkaasti meikatut, läpitunkevat, suuret silmät hallitsevat hänen diivamaista ilmettään.

Mara Mattuschka subjects herself to a second birth through endless pairs of tights. Her body struggles so hard and in such a deformed manner from out of the layers of nylon that the sheer struggle for survival becomes visible.

Mara Mattuschka synnyttää itsensä uudelleen sukkahousujen kautta. Hänen kehonsa kamppailee niin kovasti ja vääristyneenä ulos loputtomista nylon-kerroksista, että eloonjäämistaistelusta tulee kouriintuntuva.

The setting is a hotel room. Portions of the room have been replaced by a video projection. A woman stands in the center, then makes a spectacular exit. The transparency of the images creates an atmosphere of immateriality, and it represents an aspect of the past which is contained by the room.

Tapahtumapaikkana on hotelli. Huoneen osat on korvattu videoprojisoinnilla. Nainen seisoo kuvan keskellä, poistuu dramaattisesti. Kuvien läpikuultavuus luo aineettoman vaikutelman. Se edustaa näkökulmaa menneisyydestä, joka on huoneessa läsnä.
