Marianne, 15, is a skilful shoplifter and a promising boxer. Emma, 8, follows her sister everywhere because their mother is too unpredictable for her to stay home. Marianne thinks their mother would be most useful to them if she could be sent far away.

15-vuotias Marianne on taitava myymälävaras ja lupaava nyrkkeilijä. 8-vuotias Emma seuraa siskoaan kaikkialle, koska kotona ei arvaamattoman äidin takia voi olla. Mariannen mielestä äidistä olisi eniten hyötyä, jos sen voisi vain lähettää kauas pois.

A film about childhood and fatherhood. It tells a story of relationships between fathers and sons and the generation gap separating them by looking at one family: the characters in the film come from four generations of men. Despite its serious topic, the film incorporates a dark sense of humour.
