PRESS CONFERENCES
Tuesday March 8th at 10am, Helsinki, Lasipalatsi, Aquarium cabinett.

Wednesday March 9th at 1pm, Tampere, Werstas auditorium (Väinö
Linnan aukio 8).
Tampere Film Festival opening press conference. The head of the festival,
the members of the juries and the directors of special programmes visiting
the festival are present. It is possible to make interview appointments
and ask for press material in the event.
Friday March 11th at 11am, Tampere, Central museum of Labour,
library, 3th floor.
Director Barry Purves (United Kingdom).
Friday March 11th at 1pm, Tampere, Pub Höyry (Finlayson,
Siperia central square).
Director Simon Ellis (United Kingdom). Jameson Short Film Award. The event
is organized in co-operation with Jameson Short Film Award.
Sunday March 13th at 11am, Tampere, Plevna 4 (Finlayson area).
Tampere Film Festival closing press conference. The award-winners are
announced. The directors and the juries are present.

Pjotr
Sapegin is the winner of the Grand Prix
The Grand Prix at Tampere 35th International Short Film Festival has been
awarded to the Norwegian Pjotr Sapegin for his film GJENNOM MINE TYKKE
BRILLER (THROUGH MY THINK GLASSES, 2004). The jury characterised the clay
animation as “skillful and imaginative, a work of art and humanity”
and remarked that it “portrays the human nature in a poetic and
loving way”.
