Tampere
Film Festival is the oldest and the biggest short film festival in Northern
Europe. Besides the festival's screenings the audience has opportunity
to visit different kinds of related happenings like seminars, panels,
conserts and clubs.
During the year 2006 there
were over 30000 people joining the film festival. As before Tampere Film
Festival has honour to show the best short film screenings all over the
world. Both the screenings and the festival clubs were crowded.
Tampere Film Festival screenings took place in Old Customhouse, the theatre Hällä and film theatre Plevna. In the the next year The Tampere Film Festival will take place at 7th to 11th of March in 2007. Warmly welcome!

Grand Prix went to France
Tampere 36th Short Film Festival gave the Grand Prix to Jean-Gabriel Periot from his film Eût-elle été criminelle…(Even if She Had Been Criminal…).
