Tampere 38th International Short Film Festival takes place in March 5-9, 2008. It is a celebration of filmic art during five bright days and late nights. In 2007, the 134 festival screenings seduced over 30 000 visitors and about 1000 accredited professionals. Besides the International and Finnish Short Film competitions, the festival screens a wide variety of films.

In 2008, the special themes focus on Palestine, South Korea and Russia. The Canon of Short Film continues to present the best short films of all times. Videotivoli is our event for films made by kids for kids. The festival is also bursting with seminars, exhibitions, concerts and club nights.
