At first sight, this may seem a banal story. A viewer is watching a temperamental animated cartoon with gags comparable to Tex Avery's. He takes the side of a mouse fighting an uneven battle with an enraged tomcat. The mouse wins the fight. The viewer celebrates the mouse's victory but we can see a trap lying at his feet with a mouse that has just been caught in it.
